Dorothy Chepkoech Kiprono

Overview

Dorothy is the Managing Partner in the firm. Her extensive experience includes commercial and insurance litigation, employment law, family law and judicial review matters, corporate law and governance.

She began her legal journey in the year 1999 at Kipkenda and company, she then left the firm and joined National Water Conservation and Pipeline corporation (NWCPC) as a senior Legal Assistant before re-joining the firm as an associate in the litigation department.

Her passion in leadership is unmatched and as such, she has been at the forefront in driving the firm’s practice leading several consultancy assignments ranging from Legal and Governance Audits, Legal Due diligence assignments. She is an ardent champion of good corporate governance and has been actively involved in advising both public and private institutional clients on the principles of good governance and assisting clients in the implementation of the same.

Dorothy has previously served as a board member of Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation. During her term she served as the Chairperson of the Human Resource and General Purpose Committee. She has also served as a member of the Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society of Kenya in the period 2011 to 2012. She also served as a member of the Children’s Court Bar Bench Committee of the Law Society of Kenya – Nairobi Branch.
